Listing the many successes that Gasco has achieved and witnessed is an attempt to tracking the milestones: some are old, some are new, but they are all achievements to be proud of, a success story to tell and occasion to remember.

Gasco is confident of the future as it is proud of its heritage . We owe them to the people of Gasco who helped the company to prosper and grow, building the hardest thing of all: a great reputation.

16^th March	1997	The establishment of The Egyptian Natural Gas Co. (GASCO).
23^rd December	1997	Inaugurating the construction works of the Western Desert Gas Complex .
4^th May	2000	Starting operation and regular production of GASCO Western Desert Gas Complex.
23^rd July	2000	EGPC assigned GASCO the management and operation of Amerya LPG Recovery Plant.
27^th July	2003	supplying gas to the Aqaba power station in Jordon through the Arab Gas Pipeline (1st phase).
16^th October	2003	starting the regular operation of the National advanced control centre (NATA).
10^th September	2004	Gasco was awarded ISO 9001 / 2000 in project management in terms of design, procurement, and project execution supervision.
23^rd December	2004	Gasco was accredited ISO / 14001 for all areas of the company and Gas processing plants.
17^th January	2005	The starting date for exporting Egyptian liquefied Natural gas from Damietta Liquefaction Plant.
21^st April	2005	Gasco was awarded OHSAS / 18001 in environmental and safety management.
19^th November	2005	minister of petroleum ,awarded gasco the distincation shield for achieving the highest level of performance
17^th February	2006	supplying Egyptian natural gas to Rehab & Samra power stations in Jordon through the Arab Gas Pipeline ( 2nd phase ) .
14^th April	2006	Gasco was accredited ISO / 17025 for the Western Desert Gas Complex in testing and calibration for chemical labs quality system
15^th July	2006	Gasco signed a partnership agreement with GE-PII, an affiliate of General Electric International Co. for establishing the Pipeline Integrity Management Centre of Excellence ( PIMCOE ).
28^th January	2007	supplying gas to the South Sinai Governorate through Taba / Sharm El-Sheikh gas pipeline.
1^st December	2007	supplying gas to the Red Sea Governorate through Shukier / Hurgada gas pipeline.
25^th January	2008	supplying gas to El-Menya Governorate through the the first phase of South Valley gas Pipeline.
19^th December	2008	supplying gas to the Samra-2 & East Amman power stations in Jordon through the Arab Gas Pipeline ( 2nd phase ) .
21^st November	2009	supplying gas to Aswan Governorate at the furthest area of the south valley through the 6th phase of South Valley gas Pipeline.
October	2010	commisioning and starting up the first phase of ethan / propane maximization project
September	2011	commissioning and starting up operation of Dahshour compression station .
